This building has been created in the style of those widely used on rural branch lines and light railways. These relatively cheap corrugated iron structures made them attractive options for use on shoestring schemes, particularly favoured on the Colonel Stephens lines as well as being typical of many narrow gauge operations.
Buildings like these could be found used as good sheds at wayside stations or provender stores in goods yards. It could also be used as a platform barrow store or parcels office as part of a larger station. The resin is easily worked with common modelling tools and more adventurous modellers may spot opportunities for modification or 'Kit bashing' to suit their own needs.
This kit of detailed cast resin components has been produced from my own masters and moulds. The parts assemble quickly using superglue or general purpose adhesive to create a structure with a footprint of approx. 135mm x 80mm, making it an ideal building for smaller layouts.
The photographs show the parts you will receive plus some images of a test built sample to show how a finished model could look. The kit also includes a notice board and a set of notes to assist the construction. (please note the track and platform etc. shown in some photos is not included in this kit).
